THANK YOU to all who contributed to the 2016 Christmas Missions Offering total of $1569!  After a Best Special Projects grant of $500 is added, we’ll be sharing over $2000 among Belize Friends School, the Ohio Valley Gas Help matching fund, and the community food pantry.

A few Christmas cards, and a few 2016 CHARITABLE GIVING SUMMARIES (for Friends’ income tax purposes) remain at the table at the back of the sanctuary today.  If you’ve not yet received yours, please check for it there.  Contact treasurer Marcia Holliger or the church office if you have questions.

CELEBRATE THE ARTS:  Please sign the sheet in the parlor to choose a date to share your musical or nonmusical artistic abilities in praise to the Lord during worship on Sundays when the choir does not sing.

PERSONAL INVOLVEMENT IN MISSIONS:  Pennies From Heaven $10 bills are available today from the Missions & Social Concerns Committee, to be carried with you until prompted by the Spirit to share it with someone needing a bit of help and a reminder of God’s love.  Shareholders in Shalom “seed money” also is available to help Friends start projects to raise money for Christian agencies working for peace.  See more information on the table at the church library entrance.  Let’s all get personally involved in missions in 2017!

PEACE IS POSSIBLE SUNDAY:  The Parsonage Sunday School Class welcomes all Friends to join them in advocacy for peace this year on the second Sunday of each month.  January’s FCNL issue information sheet is available today from the southwest parlor table.

BELIZE MISSIONS TRIP:  If you’d like to join a week-long work team in early 2017 to help renovate newly-acquired buildings for Belize Friends School, please let the church office know what dates would work best for you.  The most probable time for a Winchester Friends team is currently the first half of March, or you could join another church’s week.  Financial subsidy is available to help offset travel costs.

THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR reading schedule copies are available on the west parlor table.  Give it a try -- it’s only 3 or 4 chapters per day!
